Allen & Young can move your belongings throughout Western Europe with our convenient and secure removal services. We offer door to door removals which differs from the standard shipping service that most of our competitors offer.
When your belongings are shipped to your new home, they are moved one stage at a time and are usually warehoused whilst awaiting connections, sometimes for several weeks. This is because the company will be waiting until they have a full container load to ship, as they will put several customers? removals together to reduce the cost. When they have enough, they will then ship it on. When the shipment reaches its destination, the shipping company will usually use a local contractor to complete the final leg of the journey. Your belongings will have been handled by many different people and companies along the way. This can increase the likelihood that items are damaged or broken as different firms will invariably blame each other if things go wrong. Sometimes boxes can be delivered to the wrong customer or occasionally go missing altogether.
Allen & Young?s relocation services are different. After we have inventoried and loaded your belongings into one of our vans, we will arrange to take them straight to meet you at your new home. Your belongings will only be packed and unpacked once and will be looked after by the same team throughout the journey, thereby minimising the risk of damage whilst significantly increasing security. It also has the big advantage that your belongings will only take a day or two to reach your new home, so you won?t need to do without them for weeks on end. This way, you can start organising your new life as soon as you arrive.
